Turn long government solicitations into first-draft proposals

Done withn8n
Free tier From $24/mo

What they did

Field Aerospace, a company of about 250 people, built n8n workflows behind an internal web app: staff upload solicitations, n8n splits them into sections, drafts answers from the firm's approved past material, builds a requirements matrix and scores new opportunities each day.

How it went

Self-reported: an "80% solution" in about 25 minutes, where a comparable draft took two weeks from three or four people, and two legacy tools were retired. Requirements extraction dropped to 15 to 20 minutes.

Worth knowing

Vendor case study written for n8n: the savings figures are inconsistent on the page, drafts are labeled AI-generated starting points, and staff still review and refine every one in Teams.

Try it yourself with n8n

Replace anything in [brackets] with your details.

Prompt to paste
Build an n8n workflow: when a file lands in [folder or app], split the document by section, extract each requirement sentence (shall, must, will) into a table, and for each section draft a response using only the approved reference notes in [knowledge folder]. Label every draft "AI draft, needs review" and send it to [Teams or Slack channel].
