What they did
Mahmoud Elsamalosy ran identical portrait prompts, starting with a close-up of a Persian cat, through paid ChatGPT (o3 model) and paid Midjourney v7 and compared speed and quality as they generated.
How it went
ChatGPT returned a single image first, while Midjourney finished a few seconds later with four. He judged Midjourney's images stronger and more detailed, and ChatGPT better at understanding plain-language requests.
