Built an AI-ready resume that assistants can query
What they did
Jake Gaylor turned his resume into an MCP server that AI assistants can connect to, so they can check how he fits a role, answer questions about his background, see calendar slots and email him. He open-sourced it, and used Claude to generate an llms.txt file from his resume and site.
How it went
His Show HN post drew 301 points and 194 comments. During his job search he also linked the server with Notion and Gmail to keep a leads database and draft cover letters, but he reports no interview or hiring numbers.
Worth knowing
Commenters asked why not just share a PDF, found the site copy repetitive or AI-sounding, and worried about spam and gaming. There is no evidence yet that recruiters use such tools.

Turn my resume into a structured profile that AI assistants can read. Sections: summary, skills with years of experience, roles with measurable achievements, projects, what I am looking for, what I am not looking for, and 10 questions a recruiter might ask with short, honest answers.
Use only facts from the resume text below and mark anything you had to guess.
