On a panel at Gitex Global 2025, G42 chief executive Peng Xiao said a Japanese-style compound with indoor and outdoor living spaces, part of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed's home in Abu Dhabi, was designed by the chairman prompting ChatGPT about 500 times.
How it went
Xiao said the compound was built in under a year, which he credited to the AI-driven design process. He also claimed the chairman's office runs on roughly ten AI agents per employee.
Worth knowing
One executive's account on a conference panel, with no drawings, costs or independent confirmation. It is not explained how ChatGPT output became construction plans, and architects were presumably still involved.
