Asked Claude for a Jumia-style Shopify theme, finished by hand
What they did
Moroccan creator Anas AI prompted Claude (the latest Opus model) to produce a marketplace-style Shopify theme as a zip file modelled on Jumia's layout, uploaded it to Shopify, then edited sections, texts, prices and collections in the theme editor.
How it went
He says the result looks about 90% like Jumia's pages and that the catalogue and pages he tried worked without problems. Logo, store name and domain still had to be done by hand.
Worth knowing
A demo in a preview store, not a launched shop with sales. Copying a known retailer's look raises brand and copyright questions, so ask for an original design instead.
Try it yourself with Claude
Replace anything in [brackets] with your details.
Create a complete Shopify theme as a downloadable zip for an online store selling [product category]. Layout: header with search and cart, category menu, hero banner, product grid, product page, cart and footer. Use an original design (no other brand's logo, images or exact layout) with right-to-left support for Arabic. Then list the Shopify setup steps and everything I must replace by hand (logo, store name, domain, images). Read the original
